DateSeptember 27, 2007

On September 27, 2007, the Kuwaiti-Moroccan Development Group (CMKD) and the Zakoura Education Foundation signed a significant educational cooperation agreement in Rabat. Supervised by Kuwaiti Ambassador Salah Al-Beijan and signed by CMKD Director General Waleed Al-Fehaid and Zakoura Chairman Nouraddin Ayoush, the deal focuses on improving living standards in the regions of Rabat, Salé, Zemmour, and Zaer.

The agreement finances the construction of four educational centers dedicated to reducing illiteracy and providing professional opportunities in rural areas. This initiative aligns with the national goals established by King Mohammed VI in 2005 to combat poverty and social exclusion. By leveraging CMKD's investment power and Zakoura's expertise in micro-credit and rural development, the project aims to empower marginalized communities through sustainable education.
